PROCESNA AUTOMATIZACIA - SLOVAKIAN REPUBLIC
Procesná automatizácia a.s. Kosice was established in 1992 as a joint-stock
company, 100% Slovakian owned. It is located in Eastern part of Slovakia and has
106 employees including 80 IT specialists with university education, 6 HW technicians
and 20 sales and administrative staff. Procesná Automatizácia is a system integrator -
it develops and implements information systems, turn-key software and database. It provides systems for automation, real-time control and visualization of technological processes in the area of: metallurgy, power engineering, transport; systems for logisitcs - production planning and control systems and others. Procesná automatizácia does also consulting, training and outsourcing in the area of IT and sale of computer and office technologies, PROCAUT has a functioning customized application of production planning - ERP, SCM - Supply Chain Management, OFS - Order Fulfilment System in metallurgical industry. The company carries out all implemented projects under LBMS methodology for project management. In 1999 Procesná automatizácia certified its quality management system according to ISO9001 standards. Until present Procesná automatizácia did not participate in EC R&D and IST programmes. However, Procesná automatizácia closely cooperates with the Technical University in Kosice (TUKE), which is a partner in over 50 EC funded projects, and thus it has an academic support in innovation and research in the area of IT.
